How do I measure the square footage of my rooms?

The Square footage is measured by multiplying the width by the length of the room.

Here is an example:

Main Area:

18'0" X 12'0"= 216 square feet(SF)

Room Entry: 4'0" x 15'0"= 60 SF

Closet: 3'0" X 7'0"= 21 SF

Square Footage = 297 SF
